Philosophy
When I first got into the flower business over 20 years ago, I discovered my
passion for art and design married perfectly with the creativity of floral design.
Flowers are as different as the people who buy them. Gathered together in an
arrangement, they can convey a variety of feelings and moods, reflections of
the people who give and receive them.
At Bloomers we carry only the best quality flowers that money can buy. That approach
to buying flowers is one of the main reasons that Bloomers, conveniently located
in London, Ontario's Covent Garden Market, has risen to become one of Canada’s
premier flower shops. You can see from our arrangements that our artistic approach
to design certainly matches the quality of flowers.
The Garden 
Come the spring, Bloomers work
begins again in our 3/4-acre cutting garden, where we have more than 4,000
perennial plants,
plus rows
and rows of annuals, all ripe for the cutting. My love for the cutting
garden is a win-win for the business, too: it has not only bolstered our
high standard
of freshness, but it’s also made many of the flowers we use in arrangements
more affordable for our customers.
Selfishly for me, getting to spend time in the garden is a real joy. We have
a crew at the garden every day, watering and keeping those pesky weeds down
so our blooms grow up happy and healthy.
